The wedding gallery at Potters is one of the many locations that makes our venue truly unique.

The gallery is the size of a small home and includes a vast, luxuriously furnished lounge area, perfect for you to relax in. There are large bay windows, velvet feature couches and a full-size mirror that create the perfect location for photos with your groomsmen.

The gallery has a private wisteria-draped courtyard with a seating area; a small kitchen; an entrance hall with electric fireplace; and a large bedroom perfect for the final dressing photos, as well as your own private bathroom that you can use to ensure that you are ready for the ceremony.

Why is it called the wedding gallery? The gallery building is the original structure on the property that housed and displayed the work of local artisans and creatives during the 1950s, when the property was known as “Potters Cottage”. The building was established in the 1930s and has had many purposes since. Now, it is a sanctuary for our Grooms and Groomsmen to relax in before the wedding ceremony.

The gallery is available for your exclusive use 1 HOUR before your ceremony and is a fantastic location to add the finishing touches to your wedding attire and to capture photos with your wedding party and parents.

Once your ceremony and portraits are finished, the gallery is the ideal location for the wedding party to relax and refresh and enjoy pre-dinner drinks and canapes before being introduced into your reception.
