We were looking at a few venues in the Warrandyte area and Potters jumped into within our research.
We chose Potters Receptions as it offered multiple options interms of ceremony location so it meant that the weatherwouldn’t be a huge factor on the day. The venue itself also perfectly captured our vibe. We loved the scaled-back brickwalls and exposed rafters as it offered a relaxed vibe that still looked very elegant. The scenery surrounding the venue was also beautiful with the autumn colours of the leaves.
Truly hard to pick one moment. For me (Liam) it was when my mother forwent a traditional speech in favour of singing me a song. Very moving. Honestly just getting to say forever to my best friend in front of so many loved ones was amazing. Generic but true.
Being able to include our two dogs as ring-bearers for our ceremony was something we really treasured. They were able to walk down the aisle of the Chapel which I guess they wouldn’t be able to do in any other venues.
General wedding day advice, try to find the time to properly enjoy individual moments on your special day. The day goes by so quickly. In terms of Potters specifically, make sure your photographer makes use of the beautiful natural backdrop in which Potters is located.

Catering: The team at Potters Receptions–Can not speak highly enough about how perfect the team at Potters was for our wedding. 11/10
Evangeline Victoria (violinist). We had Evangeline play our ceremony music. She was excellent and added a touch of classand emotion to both the ceremony and the reception.
Music with Memories (Shannon)–our DJ was very professional and brought a fantastic vibe to the day. He also took many photos/videos which captured a different aspect of our special day.
Flowers/Ceremony Flowers by Allie/HD Events – they did our ceremony and reception flowers and decorations and they were just so stunning. Their attention to detail and ability to create stunning pieces made for the most beautiful reception room.
